Seafood Marketing International Plc (Seamark) is one of Europe's leading processors and packers of all kinds of shrimps, king prawns and many other species. With sophisticated factories worldwide and a dedicated distribution fleet, the company is now a major market force. Ultima Group were commissioned to develop a new b2b visual identity for the firm online, presenting a number of challenges:
  • Aesthetically present the large amounts of technical data associated with the products.
  • Ensure site copy is "localised" to ensure European users can read it easily.
  • Ensure all aspects of the design are highly branded.

Ultima Group's creative directors worked closely with Seamark, researching the market, competitors and running brand analysis. The final design specification was rapidly prototyped and led to a very rich and interactive web presence, promoting their core brand, product brands and acheivements (including a Queen's award for export).

The development cycle on this site had to be rapid, ensuring deployment in time for a key US trade show. Placing them onto our Rapid Development Process (RDP) gave a order->delivery timescale of 2.5 weeks.
