Back/NikeSynopsis:Nike are one of the most widely recognised global brands, spending tens of millions on promotions in the UK alone. CPM Events commissioned Ultima Group to develop a equipment management system for Nike to catalogue, order and maintain thousands of promotional items (from football pitches to vehicles!) for use around Europe. The system was to be quick, secure and (most importantly) easy to use. Solutions: Creative Services: As a powerful brand, Nike have tight controls over the "swoosh", text and brand image. Our creative directors worked closely with CPM and Nike to ensure all aspects of the user interface complied with branding requirements. Technology Solutions: Ultima Group deployed its "flatpack" knowledge management platform for this project. Using its proprietary secure data and information management features, together with bespoke administrative screens, flatpack was deployed quickly (within three weeks of specification). The final system required little training, and in a support context, Ultima Group were only required to monitor and maintain infrastructure.
