egoRush is a online arts magazine, showcasing the works of some of the world's top digital artists. When they approached Ultima Group as a start-up, they had a number of key objectives.
  • To create a strong & recognisable visual identity.
  • To have a co-ordinated cross media launch campaign.
  • To generate sustained site traffic through strategic tie-ups and promotions.

Creative Services:
Ultima Group created a complete visual identity and brand package for egoRush, which was then deployed in an interactive web presence and print/advertising materials. Style guides were also produced for distribution to press & partners. The website won two major design awards.

PR & Marketing:
Ultima planned an executed a launch PR campaign together with the provision of an ongoing PR and marketing function. Key achievements over the first year included:
  • Attaining timed launch editorial coverage in key publications, newspapers and online magazines worldwide (online and offline) leading to well over 2million visitors in the sites first month.

  • A strategic tie-up with the UK's No. 1 internet magazine (.net) giving egoRush a monthly full page showcasing artwork from one of its artists. .net, while primarily a UK magazine, is also available in news-stands worldwide.

  • Strategic marketing plan was executed through the year generating sustained media coverage of the site, which is now regarded as one of the leading online arts magazines, and consistently generates over 1.2million visits per month from a worldwide audience.
Technology Solutions:
Ultima managed the hosting and communications platform for egoRush ensuring the necessary infrastructure was in-place to handle the high volumes of traffic and streaming media the site requires.

Consulting:
At the end of the first year, Ultima Group consulted and managed a merge between egoRush and Society Review (a leading lifestyle magazine) further enhancing their respective market positions. Ultima's consultants planned and engaged at all aspects from technical, managerial and brand merger.
